Localizing Global Best Practices
The conference theme concentrates on exploring how local practices can best be infused within the context in which learning takes place for the ultimate benefit of the learner. The conference will be addressing various experiences where English is taught successfully in various local and global contexts, highlighting how particular techniques are appropriately implemented in a variety of contexts.
The conference highlights the role of both recent and historically familiar methods in terms of research practices. Through surveying a range of language teaching practices, it is hoped that participants will be better able to build an informed personalized professional approach to their own language teaching practice.
The conference theme addresses several engaging ELT areas, including best practices, 21st-century skills, technology in ELT, professional development, material selection and development, language assessment, academic management, and other critical domains.
